Periodically Engineering Services will upgrade certain components such as Apache, PHP, etc. that are necessary for software operation. Once the new component version is identified, our internal testing servers are upgraded with the new component version. A full test suite of application testing is carried out on the server with latest component version. Once the testing is successful, the component version becomes a candidate for a release. Engineering Services will provide details of which components are going to be upgrades to what version and will coordinate the upgrade with your IT. Enhanced access to servers may be requested at this time, which can be reset back to its original state once the components are upgraded. The upgrades are carried out in close coordination with your IT, application administrators and Tk20 product support. System downtime notices are posted on the application. Usually the maintenance window for upgrades is from 5am – 7am CST to ensure minimal disruption of the system to the end users.
